Meet the Writer

K.S. Baron is a writer and editor based in Upstate New York.

She began her career as a newspaper intern in high school, working with the local publication to report on student activities and community events, as well as profiling local artists. From there, she studied in the maple-filled state of Vermont and received her Bachelor of Science in Professional Writing in 2018.

Baron spent the years following working many different jobs from content writer and proofreader to graphic designer and author liaison. Currently, she works as a freelance developmental editor and copyeditor / proofreader while she pursues her novel and poetry writing.

Since 2020, Baron has been serving as Poetry Editor / Book Designer for Last Leaves Magazine, a poetry and art / photography magazine available online and in print. Started by a dear friend, she was brought on board to help expand the way poetry and art are viewed in the digital age.
